Cytara Biologics is developing Invelis™, a pH-gated lipid-protein vesicle platform for triggered cytosolic delivery of biologics, with an initial focus on solid tumour oncology. Our mission is precision delivery for biologics — unlocking payloads that today cannot reach their intracellular targets.
The Invelis™ platform
Invelis™ is a modular delivery platform positioned as an alternative to lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and viral vectors. It is built on four pillars:
- Direct Membrane Fusion — vesicles fuse directly with target cell membranes, bypassing endosomal trapping that limits LNP-based delivery.
- Programmable Activation — pH-gated triggering releases payload selectively within the tumour microenvironment, sparing healthy tissue.
- Payload Flexibility — compatible with proteins, nucleic acids, and other biologic cargoes that require cytosolic access.
- Scalable Manufacturing — designed from the outset for reproducible, clinically scalable production.
